The city of Sousse in Tunisia

My Trip to Sousse

Last summer, I went on a trip to Sousse, Tunisia, and it was one of the best experiences of my life!

I travelled with my parents and my little sister. We stayed for five days in a small hotel near the beach. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff were very friendly. Every morning, we had fresh bread, olives, and fruit for breakfast.

Sousse is a beautiful city with many interesting places to visit. My favourite place was the Medina. It is the old part of the city with small shops, narrow streets, and traditional buildings. We bought souvenirs and took lots of photos. We also visited the Ribat, an old fort with a great view of the sea.

The food in Sousse was delicious. I tried brik, a thin pastry with egg and tuna inside. At first, I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but it was really tasty!

One day, we spent the whole day at the beach. The weather was hot and sunny, and the sea was perfect for swimming. We played football on the sand and ate ice cream after.

I also spoke with some tourists from France and Italy. It was fun to practise my English with them.

If you enjoy history, beaches, and good food, I really recommend visiting Sousse. I hope to go back again soon!
