Our Research-Based Three-Pillar Approach

According to our research-based approach, language learners need three distinct types of reading to become proficient. We offer a dedicated program for each:

Foundational Phonics

This program is unique in blending the principles of the Science of Reading with CEFR guidelines. Featuring 120 graded lessons, it ensures students build decoding skills systematically, learn sound-spelling relationships, and gain confidence from their very first steps in reading.

Extensive Reading

This is the heart of Bookiverse—a vast, ever-growing library of hundreds of high-interest, CEFR-leveled books, stories, and songs. This program fosters a love for reading by allowing students to read widely for pleasure and information. It is designed to help students gradually expand their vocabulary to around 10,000 words by the B2 level and over 20,000 words by the C2 level, enhancing fluency and broadening cultural understanding.

Intensive Reading

To ensure deep comprehension, each text is accompanied by structured activities that target reading comprehension, vocabulary, 21st century skills, and core values. Interactive comprehension checks provide valuable formative data, allowing you to track progress through the six CEFR levels and tailor your instruction to meet individual student needs.

Assess and Place with Confidence: Identify student levels using our EPT or EMT tests to ensure books match their proficiency without frustration.

Build a Reading Culture: Establish a weekly reading routine alongside your main EFL textbook. Assign 2–3 books/week for A1–A2 levels and 1 book/week for B1–C2 levels. This plan helps students read dozens of books in a school year, powerfully boosting vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.

Flexible Implementation: Use for Guided Reading, Shared Reading, or Independent Reading to adapt to your teaching style.

Encourage Choice and Autonomy: Once levels are set, guide students to choose what they want to read based on their interests—animals, adventures, biographies, and more. Ownership builds motivation and joy in reading.

Our platform includes over 400 leveled books and tens of culturally appropriate songs. It also includes hundreds of interactive vocabulary activities that target thousands of words and expressions by CEFR level. We insist that all content is safe, clean, and respects your students' culture, making it suitable for classroom use without any moral concerns in the Middle East, East Asia, Europe, and beyond.
