Ommi Sissi was a small old woman who lived alone. Her husband died years ago. And her children left the village to live in bigger cities.

One night a hungry ogre knocked on her door.

"I will eat you!" said the ogre.

Ommi Sissi was not afraid.

"Wait," she said. "Let me cook a big meal first."

The ogre sat down and waited.

Soon he fell asleep.

Quietly, Ommi Sissi opened the door and ran away into the night.

The ogre woke up later, but the clever old woman was gone.
